Making Dragons
All my dragons are made using the same two methods, I just scale them up or down depending on the size. Air, fire and water dragons are made using a extruded clay frame which is the covered with dragon skin. My earth dragons are made from strips of dragon skin that is wrapped around balled up newspaper for support, sometimes they coil around or under vases, jars or dishes.
All my dragons have horns, textured skin and a pearl in their mouths, Some have lots of teeth, some just have two. Some have whiskers, some don’t. The bigger dragons, (except earth dragons), will also have secret compartments and smooth belly folds. I add different finishing touches depending on the dreagons element, so earth and air dragons don’t have feet, earth dragons don’t have fins, water dragons have flipper feet and smooth fin while fire dragons have talons and spiked fins.
